Description
The flame resistant Big Bill FR CAT 4 Nomex Winter Hard Hat Liner meets NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, ASTM F 1506, PPE Category 4 / HRC 4 with an arc rating of 42 cal/cm2 for serious protection from arc flashes and flash fires. When it’s cold out there you need all the warmth you can get but still need to make sure that you’re safe from burns and flames when things flare up so this liner combines technically advanced DuPont Nomex® IIIA material, a blend of Nomex®, Kevlar® and P-140 Carbon fibers developed to withstand arc flashes and flames with 10.5 oz Thermatex® insulation and Aramid batting to keep you warm on the coldest days and safe when things get too hot to handle. For long wearing protection the seams are stitched with Nomex® thread. Durable Velcro tabs keep this liner securely in place with a Velcro closure at the neck to keep out drafts.
